I heart the Beautyblender ❤

Hello Beauts..! I've been meaning to do a review on the incredible Beauty Blender, a girls best friend indeed. I purchased mine direct from the website http://www.beautyblender.co.uk/ I bought the Beautyblender Classic and Blender Cleanser Set at £26.50. The sponge comes in the form of a tear drop and its best used damp so I always give mine a quick rinse in tepid water. I use my blender with liquid and cream foundations and the results are amazing, I apply the product to the back of my hand and dab the blender on it!! It always provides a flawless and airbrushed finish and you can work with the blender to build coverage too. To begin with, I dab the blender with the product on my face and then use a bouncing technique to ensure the foundation is evenly applied. Since it is a sponge you would think that it would absorb most of the product but that isn't the case..! In fact a little goes a long way when using this amazing sponge correctly. I use it with concealers and cream blushers too and again it's amazing and blends everything perfectly. I'll share a tip with you too..! For those of you that know Mario Dedivanovic (he's the infamous make up artist for Kim Kardashian) you might know that he's described the Beautyblender as his "all time favourite make up sponge". Now here's the tip..! The Beautyblender is amazing used damp with translucent and mineralised powders to set your make up, the great thing about this part is you don't have to bother with flat sponges or wedges..! My make up stays in place all day..!

It's easy to forget how important the cleanser supplied in this set really is! It has a lovely lavender scent and cleans the sponge almost like its brand new again. Don't let the sponge go too long between cleans as this will reduce the life span and effectiveness of the Beautyblender. I use the cleanser for my brushes too!!

All in all an excellent product and although initially I thought it was expensive, it is definitely worth the money! This product is a must for every make up bag ❤

I'd love to hear about your experience with the Beautyblender, good or bad! Thanks for reading, feel free to leave a comment.

  4. I bought the Cosmopolitan sponge from Superdrug for around a fiver which is a knock-off of this and I am in love with it. I can't believe how well it works. If you do find yourself wanting a beauty blender but don't want to pay much, I strongly recommend the Cosmo one!
